Tetera Basket 'Four Breasts'
Handwoven in the border Colombia-Ecuador by K’oraa, a community based association of 60 Epera Siapadeé indigenous women.
This basket represents the classic and unique Epera design. The extent of how the weave is pronounced circularly over its four corners lights up its name ‘four breasts’. Features a geometric and playful pattern made of locally sourced, and naturally dyed chocolatillo fiber, also known as tetera straw.
We love the versatility of this beauty. Wide and lightweight. We’ve seen people using it for produce/flower shopping, for a picnic at the park, and as a unique touch for your home decor – for your living room, bedroom and, why not, your showroom!
